Flags Across America

You may have wondered about a number of homes with flags placed near the curb over Labor Day weekend. That is part of the Flags Across America program by the Boy Scouts. Rosson Tejml (15410 Walkwood) is a member of Troop 598 and is running this program in Memorial Thicket. Rosson will place a flag in front of your home for six holiday weekends per year at a cost of $30 per year. This is a tax-deductible contribution that supports Scouting to fund expenses, equipment and scholarships. For more information, you can contact John Tejml (214.663.6652 / jtejml@att.net) and click here. Memorial Thicket HOA is not endorsing the program, but we want to provide the info for your consideration. If you are interested, please also consider purchasing an additional one for the front of Memorial Thicket; two of us have done so so far. We welcome more.
